Dan has been working with progressive dairy farmers focusing on continued business improvement since 2015. By providing service that is led by client goals and tailored to the client’s needs, Dan is able to develop solutions to match the unique circumstances found on each farm.

Prior to joining Dehm Associates, Dan owned and operated his family’s 560 cow dairy farm on two locations over 1100 acres in partnership with his three brothers Shawn, James, and Jeff.  Dan’s life as a dairy farmer working with his family gives him an invaluable understanding of family business dynamics.

Dan holds a BASc in Animal Sciences from Cornell University, AS in Dairy Farm Management from Vermont Technical College, and has extensive knowledge of Centerpoint Accounting, TMR Tracker, and other dairy-centered software.  Based out of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Dan services producers throughout the Eastern United States.  

​His hobbies include skiing, biking, and some hiking, but mostly spending family time with his wife Mary and two growing boys Nathan and Brayden.
